2D MikeP · Staten Island
A flat-print ordering portal that runs the shop — from the customer picking a poster on their phone to the operator handing the box across the counter. One queue, one tab, one system.
What the customer sees. Pick a product, configure it, watch the price land — and know exactly how much you saved vs Staples.
Where the work gets done. Every order, every queue, every paper count, every shortage — one screen Mike runs the shop from.
Live price comparison
The same job, priced against the chain stores down the road — pulled from their public pricing. Pick a quantity, watch the numbers move.
Black & white copies on standard paper.
Full-color reproduction printing on standard paper.
Executive presentations on heavyweight bright white paper.
Double-sided color reports, stapled and ready.
Three roles, one shop
Same database underneath — three views layered on top. Customers order, operators print, Mike runs the room.
Walk-ins · regulars · agencies
Lands on a client-specific subdomain (e.g. john.2dmikep.com), picks a product, configures it, drops the job in a tab. Pays monthly — not at the counter.
Whoever's running the press today
Lives in the operator dashboard. Sees today's queue by status, the paper they're about to burn through, and the next sticker to print for the drop-off bag.
The whole console
Products, pricing, materials, recipes, finishes, packaging, customers, tabs, competitor prices, drop-off partners. Everything that makes the rest of it possible.
The front door
No phone tag, no email threads, no "what was that paper called again?" — the customer drives the whole order themselves.
Posters, flyers, brochures, booklets, stickers — each with its own configurator.
Paper, quantity, finish, design tier. Live price updates with every click.
Pick up at the shop, or use a Staten Island partner — deli, coffee shop, barber.
No upfront payment. Pay the running tab monthly via Stripe link or in person.
The core workflow
Each order moves through the same four stages. The system knows where every job is, who's waiting, and what's blocking it.
Drop your file. We do the math.
No DPI guessing, no margin worry, no "is this the right size?" tab open in another window. Drag a file in — the system detects the size, picks the best fit with safe margins, and renders a real thumbnail before you commit.
PDF, PNG, JPG, AI, PSD — drag from the desktop or your phone's camera roll.
The system reads your file, compares it to every product size, and previews the best fit with safe-area margins drawn in.
Final preview, line-itemed config, total, and what you saved vs the chain — all before you commit.
The storefront
A product page that looks like every other shop's, but acts like an honest pricing engine. The price you see is the price you pay — and it shows you what you didn't pay.
Live price · updates as you click
The operator cockpit
The operator dashboard puts every active job, every paper level, and every shortage in front of whoever's running the press — no spreadsheet, no clipboard, no guesswork.
The brain
Every quote on the site comes out of the same formula. Material costs come from the DB, markup is per-client, finishing and design tier are add-ons.
Paper per-sheet (pack ÷ sheets) + ink. Pulled live from the materials DB.
Per-account multiplier. Walk-ins higher, regulars lower, agencies negotiated.
Lamination, stitching, scoring, die-cuts. Recipe-defined, fixed per unit.
Customer-supplied art = $0. Tweak = flat fee. Full design = hourly tier.
Savings: $60.45 · auto-shown on every quote
Materials & recipes
Every product is a recipe — a list of materials, finishes, and post-process steps. Change a recipe, every quote that uses it updates automatically.
Materials · Recipes · Finishes · Packaging — all DB-driven, all editable from the admin console.
The killer feature
Customers don't have to drive to the shop. Jobs go out to Staten Island partner businesses — delis, coffee shops, barbers — and every bag gets a thermal sticker with a unique pickup code.
Sticker preview · 4 × 2.25 thermal
Three-character codes are unique per job. Customer texts the code at the partner counter, partner hands over the bag. No names exchanged at the drop. Each partner earns a flat per-order fee.
The tab
Regulars don't checkout per-order — they run a tab. Credit limits are set per account, and statements clear monthly via a Stripe link or in person.
